ATIS is proud to host the 2026 3GPP Working Group Meetings in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where the leading experts in the information and telecommunications industry will convene to shape the industry’s future.

The 2026 3GPP Working Group Meetings will cover a wide range of topics, including SA (Service and Systems Aspects), CT (Core Networks and Terminals), and RAN (Radio Access Network), some of the most crucial areas in the ongoing development and standardization of mobile communication technologies.

The BMO Centre at the Calgary Stampede will provide a comfortable and productivity-enhancing environment for this work. All attendees are encouraged to register today to seize this opportunity to collaborate with peers and contribute to developing critical industry standards.

Meeting Information

Meeting venue:

The BMO Centre at the Calgary Stampede is a new, state-of-the-art convention center located in downtown Calgary. Just 25 minutes from Calgary’s International Airport, 3 blocks from the food and culture hub of Calgary’s Downtown Core, and located along multiple public transport routes, the BMO Centre provides plenty of opportunity to explore Calgary. The Scotiabank Saddledome, home of the Calgary Flames Hockey team and plenty of musical entertainment is just next door.

The Calgary Stampede is home to the internationally renowned Stampede Rodeo.

The venue itself opened in 2024, and sports ample, modern interior spaces, flexible breakout spaces, and meeting rooms that are wired for instant connectivity.

All RAN, CT, and SA meetings will take place at the BMO Centre at the Calgary Stampede. Overnight rooms at various nearby hotels have been reserved and negotiated for single and double occupancy. 

3GPP Meeting Registration : 

In addition to making their hotel reservations, delegates must register to attend the meeting on the 3GPP online portal at https://portal.3gpp.org. 

Visa Invitation Letter Request:

If a visa invitation letter is required for your travel to Calgary, please complete the following online form:

After you enter your personal information, the completed form will be processed. Signed letters will be returned via email. The invitation letter cannot be completed without your hotel information and confirmation number. Letters may take up to 14 working days to be processed. Please note that after October 1, 2026, hard copies of the invitation letter will not be physically sent. They will only be sent via email.
